Breastfeeding is both an ancient art and a remarkable physiological process — one that asks a great deal of your body, your energy, and your nervous system.
This thoughtfully crafted tea draws on generations of traditional herbal wisdom, alongside modern naturopathic understanding of lactation, to gently support both milk production and flow.
Tea | Breastfeeding Nourishment
This blend combines:
- Nettle — a deeply nourishing herb traditionally used to replenish minerals and support postpartum recovery
- Fennel and fenugreek — time-honoured galactagogues (herbs that aid in iniating and maintaining adequate milk production), used across cultures to support healthy milk supply
- Goat’s rue — traditionally used to support mammary tissue, now recognised for its role in metabolic and hormonal pathways influencing lactation
- Calming herbs — to support the nervous system and the oxytocin-mediated let-down reflex
Emerging research highlights that lactation is influenced not only by hormones like prolactin, but also by metabolic health, stress levels, and overall maternal nourishment. This blend has been designed with this whole-body perspective in mind.
Supports:
- Healthy milk production
- Milk flow and let-down
